Mission POSSIBLE: The Skiing Amikins

Let me introduce you to my badass trainer, Heather. I made her and Tracey pose before circuit last night...which is not hard for either of them. They are cut from the same posing cloth. Heather and I laugh bc her girlfriend is always making fun of her...bc Heather, just like Tracey, will engage in pose offs with themselves. For example, I know without having to really investigate, that Tracey probably spends at least 5 minutes in the bathroom before he showers, looking at his new muscles.

He is addicted.

Anyway, they are both so damn cute! Heathers favorite term to use is "beast". Like when she is pressing 50 pound dumbbells, she just shrugs to me and says "I can't help it. I am a beast". So, I have dubbed her Master Beast, and we are her Beast Apprentices...or Beasts in Training if you will.

She truly is hardcore. When we do circuit, she is just over doing pull ups or some other G.I.Jane type of move. She is a show off, and I tell her as much. I want to be just like her when I grow up.

So last fall I told Heather how sad I was when I couldn't get up on water ski's. I used to slalom, and last year I couldn't even get up on two. I told her by summer of 2010 I wanted to get up. It was her mission to make me strong enough to do so. Let's see...I am what...70ish pounds lighter and much more muscley?

I feel like I can do it.

Although I am scared that I will fail.

Failure. Yucky. Not an option.

We are going to the boat next weekend but it will still be a little cold to ski. So Memorial Weekend at the end of May will be the time. I will keep you posted.

  12. I am about to read this post, but I am commenting on the last one here--I'm eccentric like that. Anyhow, I about DIED laughing at your last post. I needed that today. Work was/is insane. I am still here, and it is 8:33 PM. UGH!!! But no one is here to hear me laughing, so it's all good. :)

Anyhow, I saw Mary mentioning getting together. I am out of town the next two weekends...but HAVE to see you two soon. Or I'll commit suicide....well, not really. But something bad could happen...like I could stay up all night thinking about it, be sleep deprived, run into a tree as a result on my way to work...a tree which hits a power pole, which sends sparks into the universe, which causes some kind of space issue that blows up the planet. You don't want to be responsible for that now, do you? Or Mary? Hmmmm....???? I promise not to mention catering! ;0)
