No pee, but I did once wretch so hard I broke blood vessels around my eyes. That was a little scary! I think I'd rather pee a little!
ReplyDeleteLet me tell you a fun story about me on a cruise. I was about 16 weeks pregnant, and there were 25 ft. swells, and I'm a motion-sicky kind of girl anyway. So I'm sitting there getting a pedicure, and my nail polish is drying, hubs is sitting there with me, when all of a sudden, I knew I was going to puke. So I jump up to find a bathroom, and I do, and just as I close the door, I puke. I put my hand over my mouth, and the puke goes everywhere, in my hair...just...EVERYWHERE! So I make it to the sink, and puke a little in there, and then, finally over to the toilet. As I'm puking, I am also peeing my pants. By the time I'm done, I am pretty much covered in puke and pee and I'm sliding around in it in my bare feet while I try to clean it up. It was seriously like the Exorcist...totally gross! Meanwhile, I am on the opposite side of the ship to where my room was. So I go back to the spa where hubs is, and the girl who did my feet takes one look at me and she's like "omg...we'll send the bill to your room!" and so I had to walk back to my room covered in puke and pee pee...yeah it was great.
ReplyDeleteSo basically, what I want to say here is that I sometimes pee a little bit when I sneeze or cough or laugh...yeah...being a girl is great! Me and Whoopi...we're pee pee sistahs!

ReplyDeleteI've literally spent SERIOUS time thinking about this issue. Do I try to sit on the toilet and throw up into some toilet paper? What if I don't make it - ah... it sucks to be a girl sometimes!

ReplyDeleteMarie, I did the same thing. Got so sick New Year's eve and puked horribly. I busted blood vessels all over my face and looked like a had pink dot rash...no more champagne for me...
ReplyDeleteI pee pee right before I poo poo. Does that count? And when I sneeze really hard. I mean come on - I've had kids. You try to squeeze a watermelon through your nostril - I'm here to tell you your nostril will never be the same....

ReplyDeleteI've only had my first PB, but if it's any help, I've been reading all of Chelsea Handler's books lately and she says that she's got the worst bladder control in the world and will piddle herself regularly if she cracks up over something funny. And not just a little pee, she'll full-on wet her pants. I love it when people in her position admit those things.

no, no, no, nope, nope, nope, never ever. My band isn't filled yet so no pb's but when sneezing yes, vomiting if ill - of course!

ReplyDeletei'll come clean, i'm not scared. yes, i have peed a little (sometimes a lot) when i pb/get something unstuck. it sucks. most of the time i'm at home though. i really make sure i don't pb if i'm not at home. but yeah....i've done it....good times.

ReplyDeleteI went to a Doctor about a childbirth related poo issue a couple of years ago, and he's all like 'we can make that MUCH better, and while we're at it, do you have a 'wee' problem as well?'
I hadn't even considered asking about the 'wee' problem as I thought that it was just something you're stuck with after having kids/being overweight etc.
Anyway, after a simple operation, an overnight stay and NO PAIN - my 'wee' problem had disappeared. Gone. Vanished... totally!
I had a cold about a month after the operation and didn't wee. I could actually RUN without having to change undies afterwards!!!
Seriously, it's a minor operation and it can change your life SO DRAMATICALLY! 85-90% success rate!
Google TVTO, trans vaginal tape obdurator (or something like that).... it's a revelation!!
My Doctor was all like 'I can't believe there are so many women out there putting up with this when it's so easy to fix. Tell your friends'.... so I do...
