Time to Scale Down

Okay...so Monday is official weigh in day and after my pouting all week...I managed to lose 2 pounds. So...I am happy about that.

We did bootcamp today. Check that off the list.

This weekend we went to a balloon festival not to far away. I had a tasty little treat called a Funnel Cake. Not to worry my wonderful bandsters...I didnt eat the whole thing, I just shared it with Tracey. It was Yummy Yummy Yummy. It was crazy hot that night. Even after the sun went down it was in the 90's.

Nothing much to report beyond that! This week is Tracey's 43rd bday and I have a few things up my sleeve. He doesnt think he is getting any presents bc we are saving for the cruise...but he is getting 2 presents. One I have been working on for 6 months (I will tell you after Thursday), and another one that my mom and I went in on.

Monday is over! WEEEEEEE

  2. Congrats on the 2 lbs! I thought of you tonight when I was coming home from Boot Camp b/c there was a big billboard for Sunkist! Also, I totally relate on the wall-punching thing, though I'm too much of a delicate blossom to actually injure my hand!! Still, if I had an axe, that wall would be toast!! :) Oh, only kidding. . . but I am frustrated with the lack of scale movement, given how hard I've been working out!

  3. Is there any better way to describe funnel cake other than fried doughy cake goodness sprinkled with a bit of sugary heaven dust? Did I say fried? Oh yeah, elephant ears, funnel cake, it's all good! You go girl!

  6. Funnel cake is one of those things that I will miss for the rest of my life. Every time we went to the zoo last year we came home and made funnel cake. It's too expensive at the zoo, and face it, homemade funnel cake is just way better. So crispy on the outside, chewy & sweet on the inside...NOM.

  8. Wow, that funnel cake looks amazing. My brother lives in the US and his tales of the foods over there are absolutely fascinating.

Congrats on the loss. You have such a positive and inspiring attitude about all of this. It's wonderful!
