As I begin to be able to shop in the normal size section of some stores (in the XL's or XXL's...) I can see my shopping addiction is going to be hard to manage. I love shopping anyways, oh it is my passion. My perfect dream job would be a personal shopper. So now that I can go into some stores and actually contemplate trying something on, gets me all excited!Had a nice chat with Angie last night and I think I will buy one pair of Victoria Secret XL undies and see how they fit. I dont understand underwear sizes since I have bought Lane Bryant undies for so long, and they are the same as jean sizes. 18/20 in pants, 18/20 in underwear. Why do underwear sizes elsewear have to be 8, 9, 10, etc. So, could someone give me a reference what size you think I should be in? Great and thank you's!!!
Hey Amy- as always, looking smok'in hot! When I was a size 18, back in the day, I wore an XL underwear from Victoria's Secret. So, you should probably try those out to see what you think. Some styles are roomier than others- I always wore the comfy cotton ones.

My undies are saggy baggy on my and look terrible. I used to be a 9, so I guess maybe 8 or 7 now??? I'm about a size 11 or 14 by now. Haven't tried pants or shorts on in while.

ReplyDeleteI am an 8/10 now and my 7 undies are getting too big so I really need to move down. My excess skin causes issues with fit/style though.
You look great Amy!!! But, you always do! Ummm...well, the underwear size. I currently wear a 1T blue in the LB jeans and I wear an 8. I wasn't sure either, at first, so I bought a 9, but they were too big. I like them. They are cheap and are the Hanes wedgie free, and they REALLY ARE wedgie free! I can't believe there really is truth in advertising sometimes. Also, it is the first time in over 15 years that I haven't bought "big girl" undies. It feels kinda strange.

ReplyDeleteI just had to buy new undies too...I got a size 8 and they fit perfectly. I am wearing sizes 12-14 and a regular Large. woo-hoo! never thought i'd wear a size without an X in it!
