How's It Hanging?

Someone asked me about extra skin today, and just this very morning as I was prancing around the bedroom sans clothing, my mother said "You dont really have any extra skin"...so...I thought I would just check in and see how everyone else was doing in this department.

Have you noticed any extra skin since your weight loss? I am 84 pounds down today and not really. Granted I am still 243 (I feel like I am fibbing when I type that), and could see some when (NOT IF) I lose more weight...but I thought by this point my stomach would be a mess. So far so good!

  2. Ugh, yes, and I hate it. It's worst when I'm laying in bed on my side, it just kind of falls forward. Not good for sexy time!!!

  3. I went from 320 or so to 253 and my stomach was a mess. But it's always been my achilles heel. So I wasn't surprised. I gained back about 25 lbs and it actually looked better... am now trying to lose that 25 lbs (plus another 150 or so) and am not looking forward to the way my tummy is gonna look :-)

  5. Great. That is the scariest part about losing weight. I'm lifting weights so I won't have Joan River Arms. She was on "The Doctors" (my new favorite talk show) last week and the segment was about plastic surgery or ways to tone your body. Anyway, Joan was a co-host that dan and tt was hilarious (check it out on the net. She very bravely revealed her upper arms to the audience. She is only 20 years older than me and so I ran for my weights. Losing weight after the age of 35 has these risks. YOu can be a pretty toned fat person and then you lose weight and you can tie all that extra skin into knots and bows. Congratulations!

  7. Amy... I'm doing okay on the excess skin right now, except for my arms... I can tell already that is where the problems are going to be larger (no pun intended)!
