One of the pictures that really startled me. In my mind...I didn't look like this. |
Same trip as picture above. Probably somewhere around 325-330 pounds. |
On the right: 12/4/2010 170 pounds. On the left: today. 174 pounds |
So hmmm. I thought there would be a noticeable difference in my tone since last year...but there is not much. That's okay. Maybe I should be happier that at least there it's not worse.
I took this picture below the other day. I wanted to show you guys the difference in where my boobs ARE and where they should be...but then I heard my mother telling me my father says I share too much. So I cropped the happy boob out (it's not like there was a nipple or anything), but its a close up of how my stomach is doing.
That scar there that you can see is my biggest one. The remaining 4 have faded very nicely.
So that is the picture progress...I will try to work on something witty and amazing for the 3 year on January 27th. Happy Monday. It's practically over!
An amazing transformation-- you should be SO proud of yourself and how you've stayed the course for 3 years!! YAY!
ReplyDeleteI still can't believe how great you look in a bikini before and after. Congrats on almost 3 years. :)
ReplyDeleteI could notice a difference in the two newest pictures, it looks like you have lost a lot more inches. You look amazing regardless, I hope I can make myself work as hard as you did and get to that place in my life.
ReplyDeleteYou can definitely see how much more toned you are. Fabulous job!! Thanks for being so inspiring!!
ReplyDeleteamazing!!
ReplyDeleteYou are such an inspiration... I adore you.
ReplyDeleteI can see a big difference from your two at goal shots, especially in the stomach and arms, you have a lot more definition. And you look amazing :o)
ReplyDeleteYou look really good!
ReplyDeleteI also see a big difference, side-view tummy & arms! But anytime you need a little pick me up, please refer to photo #1&2, that should help. I am so with you on the "in my mind I didn't look like this" in reference to my before pictures. I always say the best thing about having surgery is getting my OUTSIDES to match my INSIDES. YOU LOOK AMAZING and have done so well, thanks for the photos!
ReplyDeleteAmazing! And yes, the two more recent pictures have a huge difference too!
ReplyDeleteYou look wonderful! I'm coming up on 3 years too - hard to believe it's been that long for either of us, huh??? Glad to have taken the journey along with you though! Have a great holiday.... xoxoxoxo
ReplyDeleteI agree with Fitby40 -- it's hard to believe the before shots are you, except your personality seems to shine through.
ReplyDeleteI saw a big difference in tone between the two bikini shots. I was surprised to see your weight was actually 4 pounds higher in the second photo -- I was expecting a much lower number.
"In my mind I didn't look like this"... I have this same thought all the time. Even though I'm only about 35% of the way down, I still don't visualize myself as being as big as the number sizes in my clothing. I can't perceive myself as big as I actually am and I think it holds me back sometimes. If I felt like more of a cow, maybe I'd be more prone to go for that walk after dinner instead of climbing into jammies...
ReplyDeleteYou are rocking that bikini holy heavens! I so wish my stomach would of turned out better than it did. Congrats to all your success on 3 years!
ReplyDeleteWhat a transformation....beautiful!
ReplyDeleteFunny...your leftover scar is the same one as my leftover scar. All the rest have faded into invisibility. Scar sisters! Woooo!
ReplyDeleteMy shero!!! I want to be just like you when I grow up.
ReplyDeleteWow Amy, what an amazing transformation. I have just started following your blog, reading from the oldest posts first. I am so glad to see how you have succeeded. You really are an inspiration. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteYou're just amazing and you look great!
ReplyDeleteYou look great!! I can't believe how small your biggest scar really is.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you on this post. I have a fellow bandster that was too tight but was in denial for almost 8 months, of nights coughing, throwing up multiple times a week. Now a year later she is surprised her stomach herniated above the band. REALLY? I mean you threw up almost 11 times a week, and that was just at work.
