I'm not good with rules either and I know what works for me. Catherine pretty much summed up my personal rules. Carbonation is the enemy. I still can't figure out the best way to make champagne flatter - any ideas?
Anyway - love your post, and you are INDEED inspiring! Count me as one inspiree! PS. My grandma's name is FERN. While I'm not really sure that pills are a problem (as evidenced by a lot of bandsters who swallow big vitamins), I really never wanted to test getting stuck with a pill since my closest fill/unfill place is 400 miles away.... and I never wanted to face my surgeon with a stuck pill. I also don't drink while eating (except wine) not because of the rules, but because it doesn't work for me.Robinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10000853817685155586noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1746868749311455784.post-42658082285468079022013-03-11T15:11:35.259-05:002013-03-11T15:11:35.259-05:00Great post! :)Great post! :)Lap Band Galhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12747065418364221233noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1746868749311455784.post-1437230582558127742013-03-11T13:21:01.824-05:002013-03-11T13:21:01.824-05:00Just catching up! Do not drink carbonated drinks, especially not during or just prior to eating. (SO uncomfortable.)

3. Don't eat just before bed (total reflux situation).

4. Work out 2-4 times a week.

5. Make good food choices more often than not.

That's it. I drink coffee, use straws, and drink during my meals.

P.S. You are beautiful, inside and out. I'm sorry to read about that terrible day you had and your feelings of doubt. You can't compare yourself to someone else without factoring in the inside, too. Pretty sure no mere photo of you really conveys how many people you've inspired, helped and supported.Catherine55https://www.blogger.com/profile/13315887359315579554noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1746868749311455784.post-851644476792831512013-03-11T10:28:05.907-05:002013-03-11T10:28:05.907-05:00lol...with your straw...less than 30 min...bahahah...lol...with your straw...less than 30 min...bahahahajennxazhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15494091103772165015noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1746868749311455784.post-18755652683418738362013-03-11T09:56:36.382-05:002013-03-11T09:56:36.382-05:00This is true for my VSG surgery, too. However, I have had some weight creep back on (I would like to think it is all muscle with all the exercise I do now, but that's probably not realistic) and I've been thinking about the rules and what I need to reincorporate (and not) to continue maintenance. Thanks for the thought-provoking post this morning!
FreeJuliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00627034390859042111noreply@blogger.com
