LOL... I used to get backed up a lot on Atkins and softeners are not the way to go. This is a little gross, but when you're "bearing down" wrap some tissue paper around your hand and press down on your, um... taint. The external pressure helps to force things out the back door. That is, if you're just dealing with very hard but formed stools. I'm currently on week 3...great job on the walking! I'm currently on week 3 of the 9 week couch-to-5k running/training program. It's fun and very rewarding. Don't get me wrong...I'm sure its also entertaining to see a 229lb woman running! I want to do a 5k by the summer, but I'm going to run all of it! something I haven't done since I was a teen.....<BR/><BR/>Good luck with the fill as well.
